Sunway Communication has been established on April 27, 2006 and being listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in November 2010 (stock code: 300136). The company develops and produces various electronic components and modules related to RF, such as antenna modules, wireless charging modules, precision metals, precision connectors & cables, passive components, acoustics and more. Product applications include consumer electronics (smartphones, tablets, PCs, smart wearable devices etc.), automotive, IoT/smart home, satellite communication, data centers, energy storage and more. In 2012, Sunway had acquired the world-renowned antenna manufacturer Laird Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd, expanded globally and built a customer foundation that included the world's premier smartphone OEMs and supply chain partners.
Today, Sunway's business map has spread across 8 countries and 18 regional offices, completing the development of local reach around the world. As of the end of 2024, the company had a total of 10,000+ employees, operating income of 8.74 billion CNY (app. 1.22 billion USD), and a total of 4,782 patent applications filed.
